Report a dog attack or roaming animal immediately. Tweed Shire Council asks residents to phone at any time of the day or night to report dog attacks or roaming animals. Other animal concerns, such as barking dogs, can be reported using Council's online reporting system.

- Roaming animals

Be prepared to provide:
- Date and time of the incident
- Location of the incident
- Description of the dog(s)
- Details of what occurred
- Owner details (if known)
- Whether the dog is still roaming
- Any photographs, videos or witness information that may assist Council's investigation
Providing detailed information assists Council Rangers to investigate the incident and respond appropriately.

For dog attacks or roaming animals, contact Tweed Shire Council immediately on (02) 6670 2400, which is monitored 24 hours a day. If you are in immediate danger from an aggressive dog, call 000.
