Dog attacks are preventable
Creating safer communities through education, responsible pet ownership and prevention.
Annalyse Blyton was a compassionate, creative and much-loved 17-year-old with her whole life ahead of her. She found joy in life’s simple moments, drawing, writing out her favourite song lyrics, spending time with her family, and creating memories with the people she loved.
On 8 September 2025, Annalyse’s life was tragically taken following a preventable dog attack.
Pink for Leasy was created in her honour to ensure her legacy is one of hope, awareness and lasting change. Through education, responsible pet ownership, community engagement and advocacy, we are working towards a future where no other family experiences the heartbreak that ours has.
Because every family deserves to feel safe.
Awareness, Action, Prevention.
At Pink for Leasy, we believe that dog attacks are preventable.
Our mission is to create safer communities by promoting responsible pet ownership, encouraging early intervention, supporting evidence-based education, and advocating for meaningful legislative reform.
We believe prevention begins long before a dog attack occurs. It starts with responsible ownership, recognising warning signs, reporting concerns, educating our communities, and ensuring our laws are proactive rather than reactive.
Through community engagement, research, partnerships and advocacy, we are working to build a future where preventable dog attacks become non-existant, and where both people and dogs are better protected.
Everything we do is guided by one simple goal:
To ensure that no other family experiences the heartbreaking loss that ours has.
Preventing dog attacks before they happen through education and awareness.
Promoting responsible pet ownership and safe interactions between people and dogs.
Empowering communities to recognise risks, report concerns, and work together for safer neighbourhoods.
Working alongside communities, organisations and government to advocate for stronger policies, legislation and safer communities.
Help keep your community safe by reporting roaming dogs, aggressive behaviour and irresponsible pet ownership to your local council.
