Annalyse Jade Blyton, affectionately known as “Leasy”, was a beautiful 17-year-old young woman with her entire life ahead of her.
She grew up surrounded by animals and had a gentle, sentimental nature that touched everyone who knew her. Above all else, Annalyse cherished the people in her life. She loved being a big sister, a cousin, a girlfriend, a friend, and a daughter. Her family meant everything to her, and she had a remarkable way of making those around her feel loved.
Annalyse was a creative soul. She loved drawing, writing out the lyrics to her favourite songs, and creating memories with her boyfriend, Harry. Whether it was travelling somewhere new, attending concerts, or simply spending time with the people she loved, she embraced life’s moments with quiet appreciation.
Like so many young people her age, Annalyse had dreams, plans, and an exciting future ahead of her. She should have had the opportunity to continue growing, creating memories, and experiencing all that life had to offer.
On Monday, 8 September 2025, Annalyse passed away from injuries sustained in a dog attack. In her final moments, she was surrounded by every single person who loved her dearly.
Pink for Leasy was created in her honour.
Our mission is simple: to ensure Annalyse’s legacy becomes one of awareness, education, responsible pet ownership, and prevention. We believe dog attacks are preventable, and through community action, education, and meaningful legislative reform, we hope to create a future where no other family experiences the unimaginable loss that ours has.
Annalyse’s story is at the heart of everything we do.
Her voice lives on through this movement.
Your Voice. Her Legacy.
