Report a dog attack immediately by contacting your nearest NSW Police Station and Strathfield Council. You should also report roaming dogs, dangerous dogs, barking dogs and other nuisance companion animal concerns as soon as possible so Council can investigate and take appropriate action.

Council provides information and assistance for reporting:
- Dog attacks
- Roaming (stray) dogs
- Barking dogs
- Dangerous dogs
- Nuisance companion animals

π Information you may need
Be prepared to provide:
- Date and time of the incident
- Location of the incident
- Description of the dog(s)
- Details of what occurred
- Police event number (for dog attacks)
- Owner details (if known)
- Any photographs, videos or witness information that may assist Council's investigation.

If there is an immediate threat to life or a serious emergency, call 000.
For dog attacks, contact your nearest NSW Police Station immediately, then notify Strathfield Council on (02) 9748 9999 and provide the Police event number if available. Council's after-hours, weekend and emergency number is also (02) 9748 9999.
