Report a dog attack as soon as possible if you have been attacked or witnessed an attack involving a person or another animal. Council also encourages residents to report roaming, aggressive and nuisance dogs promptly so Rangers can investigate and take appropriate action.

- Roaming dogs
- Barking dogs
- Dangerous and nuisance dogs
- Lost and found animals

π Information you may need
Be prepared to provide:
- Date and time of the incident
- Location of the incident
- Description of the dog(s)
- Details of what occurred
- Owner details (if known)
- Whether the dog is still roaming
- Any photographs, videos or witness information that may assist Council's investigation
Providing as much information as possible helps Council investigate the incident promptly.

If there is an immediate threat to life or a serious emergency, call 000.
If a dog attack occurs outside Council business hours, contact your local NSW Police, who are authorised under the Companion Animals Act 1998 to respond to dog attacks.
