Report a dog attack immediately if you have been attacked or have witnessed a dog attack on a person or another animal. You should also report roaming dogs and other companion animal concerns as soon as possible so Council can investigate and take appropriate action. If a dog attack occurs outside Council business hours, contact Gladesville Police.

Be prepared to provide:

  • Date and time of the incident
  • Location of the incident
  • Description of the dog
  • Description of the person handling the dog (if applicable)
  • Owner details or address (if known)
  • Photographs of any injuries
  • Witness details (if available)
  • A written statement outlining what occurred
